Before I start posting the tutorials I thought I'd post some FAQs and A List of Guidelines For Using My Tutorials.
FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
What program do you use?
Jasc Paint Shot Pro 8 for regular icons and Jasc Animated Shop 3 for animated ones.
How do I add brushes to PSP8
Go to "File", "Import", "Custom Brush". Then click "Open" and go to the folder where the brushes are saved. Click the brushes you want to add and press "OK".
(Make sure the folder is unzipped if it's a zip file before you do this)
How do I unzip the files?
Depending on how it was zipped you need Winzip or Winrar. You can download either by searching on cnet.com/dowloads but I believe most newer computers already come with it installed. Try right clicking on the file and see if an option comes up to "Extract all Files". Then follow the prompts.
How do I merge pics/layers together
Go to "Layers" / "Merge" / "Merge All".
How do I do ____________ in Photoshop or some other image-editing program?"
I don't know. I've only ever used PSP8 and I have no ideas how to do anything in any other program or even other versions of Paint Shop.
Where is the Smudge Brush?
It's located in the left panel

Where is the Eraser Brush?
It's also in the left panel near the smudge brush. It looks like this:
How do I set and use a hexidecimal (#046EB8) color
First click on the color box in the right panel

A window should pop up and you can type in the color into the "HTML" box

Rules and Guidelines for using Tutorials
1. Use the tutorials to expand your knowledge of PSP and learn new techniques.
2. Do not copy the exact style of my icons and post them as your own.
3. Use the tutorials as inspiration and add your own touch to the styles I've presented.
4. Do not use my tutorials to make icons for icontests. (Many people have done it in the past so don't think you can get away with it).
5. Do not ask me simple questions about PSP8 like "How do I open an image?" because that's something you need to learn on your own by using the program or visiting any of these communites:
