Date: 2006-02-06 07:26 am (UTC)I actually have in my pictures folder, two separate folders marked "Carmendove", expressly for the purpose of keeping your work separate and accessible. You are quite prolific and I'll admit I'd have it no other way. :)
I L-O-V-E the banners, all capital letters type "love". I especially dote on the "Brothers By Nature-Friends By Choice" one, b/c I have three younger brothers myself and this sums us up quite well :), two b/c it (quite intentionally of course) sums up the Winchester boys, and I do loves me my Supernatural, yes indeedy. ;) So I plan to use that banner sometime in the not too distant future (kindly crediting you of course).
The "Scarecrow" icons are stunning and wonderful. Numbers 9 & 13 are my two favorites of that bunch, although they are all impressive.
The Papa Winchester set is sweet. I think the "A Father's Love" is my favored pick from those. It's beatific and heart wrenching, warm and wounding.
The look on Dean's face in 31 is "laugh until your sides ache" funny! I love the font on it too.
The animated pen icon is a hoot.
And I really enjoy the icons from the header in your previous posting and from the Layla/Dean header here. They're striking and I have a real attachment to the Dean/Layla pairing. I thought they were exceptional together in the "Faith" episode, so sad and yet so strong and hopeful at the same time. You capture that feeling well.
Alright, the ABCs of Supernatural are dazzling and exquisite. I love them first and most prominently b/c they have both the brothers in them all (I know this was a requirement, but I must say you did it with panache and style), but I love them additionally b/c they are not just good looking but gorgeous. Honestly, this set is radiant. My hat's off to you Carmen. You don't just do nice work, you do outstanding work. And I know I say it quite a bit but I really am thankful that you share your art (which you obviously put a lot of love into) with the rest of us. Thank you kindly for that.
I'm snagging the whole boat load and as is only proper I will credit you as each sees use.
Now I just need to remember to pop over to Entranced Icons tomorrow and let Cael know how much I enjoyed his new batch too, lol. It's funny, I barely have time to appropriately acknowledge you guys for your terrific work, and yet you all seem to manage to crank batch after batch of exceptional stuff out. Wow, now I feel like a slug,...but ah, such is life, lol.

Do you have any idea how long a grin was plastered to my face after reading this? I think your comment made such a huge deposit into the happiness bank that I won't be unhappy for a month. No, seriously, thank you so much for your lovely words and continued support. It really means a lot. I find so much enjoyment out of making my graphics that when other people like them, the added happiness just piles on top until I don't know what to do with it.
As for my icons, yeah I'm a little behind on the episodes but I like taking my time with them. Plus I was feeling totally uninspired the last week. Thankfully that went away!
So once again, thank you for taking the time to write such a beautiful and detailed comment. *hugs* It really means a lot to me :)
