I've been meaning to send you a comment since you uploaded your video, but I had to let it sink in,and come back to it, and think about it. Which is hard to do when it is playing, because then the thinky parts just shut down.

The song is lovely, of course, but I really like the way you tell your story with it, and don't go with the most obvious line reading, so we can sort of peel back the layers. I particularly liked your choice of Dean smashing the Impala to the line about the devils burn inside of us. It felt like there were just layers and layers of meaning in the line with that scene--Dean's own personal demons, his burning anger and grief, but always with the reminder of the demon with the burning yellow eyes, and the burning of the pyre and all of them were true to the moment of the song and the song carried the dreadful grief and fear and struggle of that moment.

But, yeah. Other stuff too, of course, but just, yeah.
