I think it really makes a difference which order you watch them in because I saw HYD first and totally LOVED it! I was never really interested in watching MG because it seemed old and outdated. And because past Taiwanese dramas haven't left the best impression on me. So the second one I watched was BOF. Then around the 3-4 episode as I was waiting for the subs to be released, I decided to give MG a try. Once I got over the cheap budget, I totally fell in love with the characters and actors. They just played the parts so perfectly.

I've put MG on hold for the moment b/c its plot is pretty similar to BOF and I don't want to spoil myself. But I can't wait to finish it! The author who created this story is a genius!
