Haha lol you're so cute with putting MG on hold as not to ruin BOF. But yeah I think the order does matter. I watched MG1 and 2 first then HYD movie then started with BOF and while waiting for it I watched HYD1 and started on HYD2. And since I already know the plot, I'll be happy for when BOF take off on their own :)).

The author is a genius but that's probably why MG2 sucked. It had nothing to do with the original story and so you might want to give it a skip because it sort of affected my love for MG1.
