For me, the hip-hop award could either go to Epik High or LeeSsang. LeeSsang is really wonderful especially the MV. You should check it out. :)
For the song of the year, I totally agree with you. Its not because I'm biased(SuJu all the way!) but if you look at the popularity aspect, Sorry, Sorry is waaaaaay popular. I live in the Philippines and I hear it all the time here.
I felt very sad when I saw DBSK and 2PM giving their acceptance speech. They are such talented groups and they don't deserve all the problems they have right now.
I also think that this awards show is kind of ridiculous not because there weren't any SM Town artists but how the awards show didn't live up to its name. Like you said only Korean artists were nominated and it's truly disrespectful.
Overall, most of the stuff you ranted on are the same rants I have. Especially the JYP thing as the best Asian composer. I can't deny that he's one of the top producers of idols in Korea but I think some people are just blind and doesn't see other composers who are much deserving of that title.
